Gently in My Arms
Gently in my arms, Love, lay,
As on a swing we slightly sway;
And easing into each other's eyes
We forget the clear-blue skies.
Gently through your hair, Love, flows,
A scented breeze of flower prose
To set alive each strand and place
More living love in our embrace.
Gently in our eyes, Love, shines,
A shimmering sun; it us inclines
To squint. A future in sight...
We caress the moment in delight.
Gently in your smile, Love, wakes,
A dormant dream of quelling aches
With honey, healing heart of bitter burns;
And we smile on, clear of concerns.
